Huntsville, AL (June 19, 2019) – At an evening reception hosted at Baron Bluff, the Women’s Economic Development Council Foundation announced this year’s recipients of the prestigious Women Honoring Women recognition. Among those named was LSINC CEO Alicia Ryan. This honor recognizes the impact of her life’s work and signifies the inspiration and investment in future generations of women leaders that her contributions to the greater Huntsville community have had.
Last night’s reception marked the 18th Annual Women Honoring Women event, a WEDC Foundation celebration of inspiring local women making an impact on our region and inspiring women to make a better life for themselves and their families by completing their education. Last night’s honorees are devoted to these values and have stories that reflect inspiration and courage that pave the way for young women following in their footsteps.
Ryan comments, “Being named by the WEDC as a ‘Women Honoring Women’ recipient is a tremendous and humbling gift. It inspires me to continue to invest in my community and the talent and leadership of the women around me and who will come after me.”
Ryan actively lives the principles of servant leadership within her family, her company, and her community. She participates in numerous civic iniatives including Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County, National Space Club, Leadership Huntsville, Rotary Club, and Cyber Huntsville. Ryan sits on the board of the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Foundation and has been instrumental in the creation of an independent residential magnet school which will provide academically motivated and gifted 7th through 12th grade students with educational experiences in the rapidly growing fields of cyber technology and engineering beginning in August of 2020.

Ryan, along with the other elite group of women leaders chosen as Honorees, will be recognized on September 19, 2019 at the 2019 Women Honoring Women Event at the Von Braun Center.
