HUNTSVILLE, AL — LSINC is proud to announce that the PeriOne™ received a coveted PRINTING United Alliance 2022 Pinnacle Product Award for Direct-to-Shape Printers. The winning entry can be found online at the Pinnacle Product Awards Gallery.
The PeriOne is perfect for full-color, light production printing, prototyping and proofing to cylinders and tapered media. Some stand-out features include the ability to print directly to clear glass without the use of a barrier, auto wiping and capping of the inkjet heads, and expanded maximum media diameter and length.
The PeriOne joins two other LSINC Print engines including the high speed, four-tunnel PeriQ360TM and the Perivallo360m® which prints to contoured media. The PeriQ360 won in this award category in 2021.
“We could not be more proud of the technology we design and manufacture in our Huntsville, AL facility,” said LSINC CEO Alicia Ryan. “The PeriOne rounds out our product portfolio by providing an entry level solution into the direct-to-object printing space. We appreciate the recognition Printing United has given us.”
LSINC also won a 2022 Digital Printing/Direct-to-Object Best of Category award for the DeMarini VooDoo Baseball bat printed on LSINC’s Perivallo360©.
Open to all PRINTING United Alliance supplier members, the Pinnacle Product Award competition evaluates products that will be available for sale in 2022. A highly qualified panel of judges across the printing industry evaluated the annual contest’s 160+ entries in more than 58 categories spanning analog, digital, output, and non-output technologies.
Output devices are judged based on reports generated by measuring color charts and then comparing them to industry specifications. “This is the only competition I know of that reports on the percentage of Adobe RGB a printer can hit,” said Dawn Nye, Program Manager for Pinnacle Awards, PRINTING United Alliance. “Some categories were decided by tenths of a point, so fierce was the competition this year.”
“The Pinnacle Product Award competition represents the best of the best among commercial hardware, software, consumables, and industrial and screen equipment,” Nye said. “Congratulations to all the winners.”
